So Full Of Love

My sincere sympathy on the loss of a wonderful Lady. Your mom always made me feel like one of the family whenever I came over. I feel so blessed to have spent so much of my growing up years with your family on the beach. I'll never forget the unique meals she would make and how she encouraged me to just "try it" -- like tongue!! She was always so loving and generous. Your mom will be in my prayers as will you all. Love, Leslea

First of all I want to extend my condolences to Wolfgang and all of the kids. It is always such a great loss when you loose someone that you have loved, admired and charished. I understand how difficult it can be. One thing I have always admired about the Smith family is the level of humor and the positive outlook on life that the whole family has. No matter what! I grew up with Todd from 4th grade through graduating highschool together. I didn't have alot of interaction with the other Smith kids, but what interaction I did have the experience was consistent. Fun, humor, great people to know. From Wolfgang to Lady to all of the kids. I live in Chicago now and have a family which makes it difficult to get away from the Midwest. I do see Chad from time to time when I travel to Vegas and visit my parents I have seen his wonderful family in those visits. Enough rambling, Remember Lady for how she lived, what she believed in. Don't forget the values she taught you kids, let her legacy live on through how you live your lives and hopefully that will move to your kids and their kids so that your families memory of her never dies. It's hard but don't be sad, be happy about the fact that you had a chance to experience such a beautiful person for your time here on earth. For hopefully we all will meet again later in another life in eternity. God Bless you all!!

Dear Rudy, Ginny, Barbi, Todd and Chad I was so shocked and saddened to receive news of your loss and offer each of you and your families my deepest sympathy. I adored Virginia. I thought of her every time I stepped on my "Virginia Smith" Versa Climber, and will continue to do so. She looked so beautiful and vibrant last year celebrating your birthdays and anniversary, Rudy. I am so thankful I was there to share in such a happy celebration. It will always be a cherished memory. Virginia left a wonderful legacy -- a happy marriage, four wonderful children, successful, both in business and in her personal life with countless friends. I will miss her. Lucia Zurkowski

Dear Rudy and Family

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Virginia was one of the finest women that I had the honor to know. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her; she truly was a Grand Lady-

To a sweet Lady

I just got back into the country and I was so sorry to hear about Virginia. I met Virginia in Malibu, on the beach, when I was a little boy. It has been a pleasure to look forward to seeing her at every health club trade show for the last 25 years or so. Virginia and Rudy were always one of the first people I would search out on the trade show floor to say hi, and to get caught up on their lives. Virginia was a good skier and it was a pleasure to spend the day on the mountains in Utah with her and Rudy. I too will miss her smile and that positive, optimistic glow that she spread to everyone she came in contact with. My thoughts, prayers, and love go out to the family.

We are in shock! Of all the people in this world, Virginia should have lived to be at least 105. What a beautiful and wonderful "lady" she was. Rudy, our hearts break for you and the sorrow and frustration you are going through. You two had such a beautiful rewarding relationship with so many great memories that you can treasure and no one can ever take away. You can be so proud of the life you led together, your beautiful family and the many many friends who love and respect you. We were so happy to have been a part of your fantastic 50/80 celebration. Little did we know it would be the last time we would all be together. God be with you and give you the strength to get through this unbelievable tragedy. Our love and prayers are with you and yours.
